The edit may be finished, but the upload still needs a title, a description and perhaps a few ideas for shorter clips. Smoothy Studio works from your source material to give those tasks a starting point.
Studio Pro is $5 USD per month with 2,000 credits every 30 days. It is an optional cloud plan. The desktop app’s AutoMulticam, local captions and local image tools remain free without an account. A free account includes 100 credits every 30 days for supported tools; pricing explains access. Credits are an allowance, not unlimited AI use, and request costs vary by tool and model.
Start with one useful source
In the desktop Studio workspace, choose your Premiere sequence, subtitles, an audio/video file or a YouTube link. Access follows your plan. On the web, free accounts support SRT and YouTube sources; Pro adds audio uploads. If you already have a transcript, review it before asking AI to work from it.
Timing matters when you want clip ranges. A paragraph summarizing the subject may be enough for title ideas, but it does not contain reliable start and end times for an actual edit. Use a timestamped source aligned with the sequence you will open in Premiere.
Find moments for Shorts
Run Shorts to get candidate ranges. Look for a complete idea: a question with an answer, a problem with a useful fix, or a short story with an ending. Check the original footage for delivery and context.
Send supported results as markers to the matching Premiere timeline. Those markers guide the edit; they do not cut, reframe or export a finished Short. Leave room for the sentence to start and end naturally. The Shorts guide walks through that review.
For a longer condensed version, use Condense plans to suggest source ranges you can arrange yourself.
Draft the title and description
Use Titles to compare ways of introducing the subject. Choose a promise the video actually delivers, then shorten the wording for your audience. Studio does not provide live keyword volume or guarantee search rankings.
Descriptions can turn the transcript into an upload draft. Add your real links, check any suggested timestamps and remove unsupported claims. Hooks offer opening ideas to review against what the speaker actually said. The same source can also become social posts or a blog draft.
Plan the visuals and sound
Thumbnail ideas return written concepts. B-roll and SFX tools suggest shots and sound cues; they do not provide licensed media files. Use Stock Footage and Audio Library separately when you need assets.
AI Photos and Chat sit alongside Studio in the desktop app’s AI Tools group. AI Photos creates or edits images with cloud credits. Chat helps you explore questions with references. Save the results you want to keep and review them before publication.
