Is SmoothyApp really free?
Yes. Every local tool is free and needs no account. Optional Studio AI uses credits and can be turned off in Settings. Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve are separate products.
Does every tool work in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve?
Yes, including Resolve Free. Premiere uses the bundled panel; Resolve uses the local connector. New timelines and media arrive ready to place. No Resolve Studio licence is needed.
Does it upload my footage?
No. Multicam, captions, cleanup, compression and Assets run on your computer; models download once. Stock Footage, Audio Library and optional AI need internet.
What do I need for Multicam?
Synced cameras and a separate mic track for each speaker. Smoothy cuts on a new timeline and leaves your original untouched. In Resolve, decompose nested clips first.
